I want to thank God for my life, my sister and my brother. Last year (2020), I observed some funny symptoms around my breast but I ignored it. Then this year (2021) I couldn’t bear it anymore. I was having severe pain in my breast so I went to a breast clinic. They carried out some tests and concluded that I had a breast mass (lump) then I was told to go for a scan. I went to a laboratory with all the information that I was given from the clinic and secured an appointment date. However, when I got home, I heard a voice that told me not to go back to the clinic. I decided to attend a church service and Pastor Elijah was led by God to ask us to lay our hands on any part of our body where we were feeling pains. I did as instructed and believed God for healing. I told God, “I cannot serve you in vain. Just do what only you can do.” I want to testify that since that day, up till now, no more pains. Praise the Lord!
My second testimony is on behalf of my younger brother who graduated from secondary school and has been trying to secure admission into the university. At first, we were praising God that he got admission into Osun State University (OSU). Then he went for his final clearance only for his interviewer (an official) to say, “Young man, what did you do? You change your scores on the JAMB portal!” My brother was perplexed and replied, “I don’t even have access to your systems.” They kept insisting and soon started calling him a criminal. Next, they called on the Police to arrest him for changing his Jamb score from the portal. He presented his admission letter and proof of innocence yet they did not listen. That was how he forfeited his slot after much ado.
My brother felt frustrated because he had to try to get into so many other federal and state universities. Soon, we summoned courage that he would attend a private university though more expensive but we believed in prayers that God would provide the funds for it. True to His faithfulness, God made it possible but then a week to his resumption, my brother started complaining of a pain in his belly. It was so serious that we had to go to the hospital to get him tested. He was diagnosed of gastric ulcer and started treatment immediately in a bid to meet up with the resumption date. After that, my brother was allowed to go to his new school. On getting there, he was said to be exhibiting some symptoms of the COVID 19 virus. Luckily when a proper test was carried out, it turned out negative. Next, he called us again that the stomach pain had started again and this time, he was vomiting blood. We took him to the hospital again and were told that a bacteria had grown within him which needed to be operated on.
At that point, it took the matter to God. I went to the church with his picture, placed it on the altar and told God, “God, I am not going to disturb your servant Pastor Elijah. I believe in you and it must work.” I kept interceding for my brother even though he told me to inform the pastor about his situation but I refused and he succumbed. Some weeks ago, I called my brother and asked him how he was faring and he said, “I am fine. There is nothing wrong with me anymore.” I just want to thank God. Halleluyah!
