I thank God for life, I thank God for everything. In 2019, as I was planning towards my traditional marriage, things were not settled. I came to the pastor for counsel, he put me through and gave me some prayer points. This gave me courage but when the pandemic began, we started thinking whether to proceed in spite of the lockdown since there was a curfew. We were indecisive but I believed that if God permitted it, it would come to pass. Well, to God’s glory, eventually in February 2021, we decided to go ahead with the traditional marriage. I still called our Senior pastor to pray along with us whether to proceed or not and he gave the go ahead by the leading of the spirit of God.
I honestly did not have much funds for the entire process but two days after, a friend called and said that he had heard that I was preparing to get married and asked for my account number and next thing a saw as a credit alert. That encouraged me further to go on the trip. Another obstacle came when the head of my wife’s family called and insisted that we must purchase everything within the marriage traditional list. I just kept believing God that no matter what I would do only what was within my power and they would accept it and that was exactly what took place. I ended up not doing everything in the several lists l was given and God favour me all through the wedding process. Glory be to God.
